Richard Royal

Executive Consultant

Richard (Dick) Royal is a strong advocate of best practices in the construction industry and provides a focus on risk planning and process. Dick provides executive-level consulting services to contractors, engineers and owners. His operational expertise is sought after globally to assess project outcomes and resolve construction disputes.

Prior to working with CM-Services, Dick worked over twenty-six years with Gilbane as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, he had total on-site responsibility for projects, managing labor relations, human relations, cost controls, change orders, scheduling and safety. In his career, Dick consulted on international projects in excess of $200 million in volume. Dick’s expertise in claims and project controls led to his being chosen to create Pfizer’s Global Peer Review Services, a division of Pfizer worldwide to manage costs and outcomes of construction projects over $10 million in volume. Dick traveled worldwide evaluating cost and schedule projects, developing project processes and training Pfizer project management and engineers. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Roger Williams University and a Boston Builder’s License. He is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
